All quiet the night before the big day.
This is not from huge rain unfortunately - this is the result of about .2mm - but it looks lovely!
32.5 tonnes of muscle working on our dam and waterways.........
Opening up the waterway and getting rid of all of the silt and vegetation
Nothing to hold back the water when it finally puts in an appearance
Cleaning out the dam - taking away the silt, the water rushes and rocks
Here is a contrast of one side done and clean and the other side yet to be done - messy in the extreme but entirely necessary - end result ....... lovely!!!!! Darren also cleared some more vegetation from a section further down so we can now get across to the other side of the waterway and mow!!! Great!!! He has also put in a small pond for us which we will be turning into a memorial corner for Don.
